Banana milkshake

Whip up a thick, creamy milkshake using fresh bananas and ice cream, then finish with a swirl of whipped cream and sprinkles for a real diner-style classic

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas, peeled
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 100-150ml milk
  • whipped or squirty cream, to serve
  • ground cinnamon or sprinkles, to serve

Method

  • STEP 1

    Put the bananas, ice cream and 100ml of milk in a liquidiser and whizz until smooth and foamy. Check the consistency and add another 50ml of milk if you prefer a thinner milkshake, then whizz again to combine.

  • STEP 2

    Pour into a tall glass and top with whipped cream and a pinch of cinnamon or chocolate sprinkles to serve, if you like.
