Snickerdoodle Blondies

blondies, when we’re craving a perfect, easy fall dessert, we turn to these snickerdoodle-flavored blondies every single time. Perfectly tender and chewy (with a cinnamon-sugar topping), these blondies get that signature snickerdoodle texture and flavor without cream of tartar. We know, we know—they said it couldn’t be done. But, these blondies nail that classic chewy texture and flavorful tang, no cream of tartar needed. If you’re a fan of the classic cookie, trust us—you’re about to meet your new favorite dessert.

If you have any blondies, leftover store them in an airtight container at room temperate for 2-3 days.

Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 3/4 c.(1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 c.sugar
  • 1/2 c.packed brown sugar
  • 2large eggs
  • 2 tsp.pure vanilla extract
  • 2 c.all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp.ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 tsp.baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp.kosher salt
  • 2 tbsp.cinnamon sugar

 

Directions

    1. Step 1

      Preheat oven to 350° and grease a 9-x-9″ pan with cooking spray. In a large bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter and both sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until combined.

    2. Step 2In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and beat until just combined.
    3. Step 3Press batter into prepared pan and sprinkle top with cinnamon sugar.
    4. Step 4Bake until golden and still slightly soft in the middle, 25 to 30 minutes.
    5. Step 5Let cool before slicing into squares.
